About Fine Control Device
It is a fine adjustment unit for robot hand using the basic structure of centering unit (PVXM).
FCD can compensate for misalignment that occurs when handling with a robot and it can be placed in any position, downwards and even sideways, which was impossible with PVXM type. The top plate slides along the work piece or the tapered surface of the other side, and corrects misalignment of the work piece. The top plate adopts a "center lock" mechanism that always returns to the original position and locks it by supplying air.
There are two types of basic model, namely top plate non-rotating type and top plate rotating type (with angle regulation).

The top plate slides along the work piece or the tapered surface of the other side to compensate for misalignment of the work piece.
The top plate locks by returning to the original position using air supply. The top plate center locking mechanism enables stable operation even when it is transported. Even when the center lock is not working due to air supply, the top plate will return to the center because of the attractive force of the internal magnets. The magnet centers the top plate but slightly different from the original position.
